🌱 Elevating Youth Leadership in Mindanao
Now in its 58th year, the MOHSG program remains one of the longest-running and most esteemed youth recognition initiatives in the country. Spearheaded by JCI Davao, the program continues to champion youth leadership in Mindanao, developing young individuals to be socially responsible, proactive, and solution-oriented.
This year’s theme challenged nominees to align their community initiatives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—a step toward nurturing not just academic achievers, but future leaders ready to address real-world issues.
Adding depth to the culminating event was the launch of the first-ever University Fair, where top colleges and universities in Davao provided guidance to the nominees and attendees, empowering them to pursue higher education opportunities.

“MOHSG is not just about honoring scholars; it’s about recognizing the leaders of tomorrow,” said JCI Davao President Anthony John Christopher Castro. “Each finalist showed us what youth leadership looks like in action—from tackling local challenges to envisioning a better future for Mindanao.”

With every graduate honored, MOHSG 58 reaffirmed JCI Davao’s mission to build leaders who will drive sustainable impact in their communities. The success of this year’s program sets a strong foundation for future MOHSG editions—continuing a legacy of excellence, integrity, and youth empowerment.
