Ah, JCI– Where the leaders are sharp, the passion is fiery, and the competition? Ruthless (but in a friendly, we’re-all-in-this-together kind of way). It’s a playground for the ambitious, the bold, and let’s be honest, the slightly crazy ones who willingly sign up for more unpaid responsibilities. But that’s exactly why we thrive here.
Last year, JCI Davao set the bar high, shattered expectations, and made things happen. But beyond the awards, the titles, and the insane number of meetings, the real victory is in the growth. As leaders, as friends, as a family that occasionally argues like one.
As we step into a new year, one thing is clear. This is our time to go ALL-IN 77. No half-measures, no what-ifs. Just a full commitment to impact, growth, and making every moment count.
Now, a little wisdom from someone who has seen a few JCI storms: never make enemies. In an organization full of strong personalities, clashes are inevitable. Ideas will collide and egos will be bruised. But at the end of the day, the connections you build here? They last. Burning bridges is never worth it. You’ll be surprised how many times you’ll cross paths with the same people in the future.
JCI feels endless… until it’s not. One day, you’ll wake up and realize your time here is over. No more projects, no more GMMs, no more frantic bids submission at 3 AM. And when that day comes, all you’ll have left are the experiences, the lessons, and the friendships you never would have had if not for JCI. So relish it. Say yes to the crazy opportunities, embrace the chaos, and make memories worth looking back.
