The search for the Most Outstanding High School Graduate (MOHSG) of Davao celebrated its 57th launching on March 2, 2024 at the Philippine Women’s College of Davao, showcasing the enduring legacy of the Junior Chamber International – Davao Inc. (JCI Davao).

Under the leadership of MOHSG57 Project Chair, Engr. John D. Chin, and supported by the MOHSG57 Launching Project Chair, Mr. Patrick Jim Cuartero, the event brought together 31 nominees from various schools across Davao City, who were the focal points of the occasion.

During the event, the nominees introduced themselves to each other giving them an opportunity to share their advocacies, leveraging the MOHSG platform for their initiatives. The event also featured interactive activities aimed at promoting collaboration and solidarity among the attendees, with nominees engaging in tasks related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The nominees were also honored by the Area chair for Youth Leadership Excellence Award (YLEA), Mr. Joe Marie Tan, where he shared a bit of his insights on leadership and how the youth leaders of today will become the leaders of tomorrow.

MOHSG once again demonstrated its commitment to celebrating the skills and talents of Davao’s high school graduates while empowering them to make a difference in the world. By providing a platform for young leaders to connect, collaborate, and share their visions for a better future, MOHSG continues to uphold its mission of promoting excellence, leadership, and service among Davao’s youth.

As the event concluded, it left a lasting impression on all attendees, serving as a reminder of the remarkable potential and boundless possibilities inherent in the next generation of young active citizens.
